Cold Rock after Casa

We went to Greenbelt for a dinner since one of my fiance barkada is celebrating her birthday at Casa Armas Tapas Bar located at 3rd floor of Greenbelt 3, Casa Armas is my one of my favorite Spanish restaurant, but take note this place is expensive. This time we ordered a different Paella compared to the last time that I have been here, Nevertheless, despite the changes I still ate a lot. After eating dinner, we went to Cold Rock Ice Creamery for a dessert, first you will select the flavors which I have listed :
Ice Cream Flavours
Natural Cream, Mango, Macadamia, White Chocolate, Aussie Vanilla, Tia Maria, Butterscotch, Caramel, Banana, Strawberry, Boysenberry, Coffee, Cookies & Cream, Double Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Choc Mint, Rum & Raisin, Cheesecake, Bubblegum, English Toffee, Honeycomb, Licorice, Tiramisu and new flavours added regularly.
Low Fat Ice Cream
Mango, White Chocolate, Aussie Vanilla, Banana, Coffee, Strawberry, Cheesecake and Chocolate with more flavours added regularly.

Then You can get a toppings of either Fruits, Nuts, Sweets & Chocolate and others.
Mix-Ins: Fruits
Strawberries, Raspberries, Boysenberries, Mango, Blueberries and Passionfruit.
Mix-Ins: Nuts
Macadamias, Pecans, Crushed Nuts.
Mix-Ins: Sweets & Chocolate
Mars, Snickers, Cherry Ripe, Bounty, Crunchie, M&M's, Peanut M&M's, Mini M&M's, Milky Way, Jaffas, Freddo Frogs, Gummi Bears, Maltesers, Tim Tams, Flake, Violet Crumble, Picnic, Caramello Koalas, Scorched Peanut Bars, Marshmallows, Nerds, Sour Lollies, Sherbert, Freckles, Fudge, Kit Kat, Oreo Biscuits, Rocky Road PLUS lots more.

Mix-Ins: Others
Brownies, Cookie Dough, Ginger, Milo, Nutella, Peanut Butter.
after selecting your ice cream and mix-ins, they will mix and smash it on a cold surface within 15 seconds. and voila you have your ice cream. I orderd 2 scoops for P99.50 mixin with marshmallows, chocolate chips and crisspies. it cost an additional P25 per topping.

By the way here is a little history of Cold Rock, Cold Rock Ice Creamery concept originated in Boston U.S.A. in the mid 1970's. Steve of Steve's Ice Cream mixed Oreo cookies into an ice cream for his daughter. Several customers saw this and asked for the same. Realising the potential for this concept, he began placing slabs of granite in his freezer, taking them out and then mixing his creations on them until the coldness dissipated. This evolved to the point now where they have refrigerated granite slab called the COLD ROCK, upon which they create thousands of flavour combinations of ice cream. In 1996 a similar concept was started in Australia. This included improved recipes, a larger selection of mix ins and the best home made ice cream possible. All mixed on the refrigerated granite slab called the COLD ROCK where they can create literally thousands of flavour combinations of ice cream.

Sincere Sincerity

I have to simply try Sincerity Restaurant located at Nueva, although I have already tried their famed Fried Chicken, since somebody had served Sincerity Chicken in one of the party I went to. But I have to convince myselft to visit Sincerity Restaurant located in Nueva during the weekend since the parking at Ongpin is quite difficult and traffic is sometimes horrendous.

We arrived at Sincerity around 11:30am last Saturday together with my sister and fiance. The place is already packed but we still manage to get a seat. We ordered the famed Sincerity Chicken P140, Kikiam (ngoyong) P45, Oyster Omelet small P220, Kua Chat Phun (kikiam Phen rice) P35, Black Gulaman P30. I simply love the fried chicken, which has a uniqute taste and delicious, the Oyster is also Numero Uno compared to Golden Fortune Seafood Restaurant.

For those who like saucy liver steak dish, you can try it as it got a sweetish sauce that looks like adobo but it’s studded with kuchay stalks and wedgest of tomato. Liver was tender and pink inside like good steak and was flavorfully seared on the outside.

Mang Inasal

I was craving for A Bacolod Inasal chicken because everytime I visit SM Manila, Bacolod Inasal has a lot of customer and I just do not want to wait to be seated. So we went to Harbor Square where a new Restaurant similar to Bacolod Inasal has opened "Mang Inasal" . They claimed to be the Ang Tunay na Ilongo Barbeque! We ordered Chicken Paa P75, Pancit Molo P35, Sizzling Sisig P95, Buko Juice P40 for Total of P320. The food totally sucks and there is a tangy taste in Pancit Molo. The only thing I really like about the place is that its new and the place is not crowded.

I really do not recommend this place, but I guess anybody can improve. By the way for those who would like to try the place check out the menu :
