Sonya's Garden

We've been planning to visit Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay since December 2005. I had to cancel the first reservation with Sonyas Garden since I availed of Citibank Credit Card Bonus Point promo for a Sonya's Garden gift certificate good for 2.

Sonyas Garden is a very good place for a date since it has a beautiful garden and a lot of flowers around. It's like you are in a flower field. We arrived around 2pm and were very hungry. We were ushered to a table for 6 since most of the tables were still occupied. The chairs were kind of old and the table settings were like that of circa 60's. The first serving consists of Green Salads and you can add the following (mango, papaya, pineapple, melon, egg, cucumber, pop beans, home made dressings). All of these are refillable. They also serve Fresh dalandan juice in a pitcher. Then, home made bread with about 4 home made dips were served. For the main course, pasta with tomato or white sauce was served. We had a choice of Salmon as toppings. For desserts we had Turon and Sweet Kamote and Tarragon Tea. Since we were already full, we requested the desserts to be wrapped for take home. We ate for about 2 hours. Unfortunately we cannot stay longer as they were setting up the place for a birthday party later in the evening. The Total bill is P1100 or P550/head and we paid using gift certicate we got from City bank.

Afterwards we went to take a walk in their garden, and we also went to see Sonya's Bed and Breakfast Rooms :
- 10 cottages, 14 rooms
- Weekdays: P2,500 per person (free foot & back massage)
Weekends/ Holidays: P2,800 per person
