Burgoo

Last Sunday I had a dinner in Burgoo Morato with my friends Alex, Eejit, Jessie and Edmond. It has been a really long time since we last went out to dinner - hectic work and mismatched schedules. But we tried our very best to finally meet up last Sunday.

We chose Burgoo so that we can use our HSBC card and receive a free dish, Burgoo is an American bar and restaurant. We ordered Grilled Pork Tender Chops seasoned and grilled large for P325, Rawlins Classic is a combination of sausage, cajun chicken and baby prawns sauted with bell peppers and mushroom, served with bed of rice pilaf corn salsa large P295 and we got a Free Fish and Chips fresh cream dory with french fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce, Bottomless Ice Tea for 5 at P60 each. The food is so good! The service is great too. Bad thing is, rice being a main Filipino dish and not for the Americans…the extra rice we ordered seemed measly.

They also had those paper placemats, which we could draw on using crayons they provided. we wrote there: Happy Birthday Eejit, and later Your service is very good. Keep it up! The waiter showed the comment to the manager.
